All Information About Your Tandem Jump
Our club was founded in 1972 and has significantly influenced the development of skydiving in Austria. As one of the largest skydiving clubs in Austria, some of our members have decades of experience. Here, you’ll meet instructors with over 12,000 jumps.
A tandem jump offers you the possibility to experience freefall, completely safe, after a short instructional-training. Either for yourself or as a present, get the feeling of freedom and adrenalin with the Para Club Wiener Neustadt.

- A camera jumper can film only one person in free fall
- Groups - up to seven tandems can be started together
- Glasses and contact lenses are no problem
- Arrival - please arrive 30 minutes before your appointment (there will be a short briefing)
- Time required - around 60 minutes - but please allow for more time - up to 2-3 hours (weather)
- Bad weather - You will be notified by SMS and you can book a new appointment
- Requirements- min. Size 1,45m / max. Weight 90kg to 115kg surcharge
- Clothing - sporty shoes, long trousers, gloves in spring and autumn
Requirements
- You must be at least 145cm tall.
- There is no age restriction. Minors must have the consent of parents, no exceptions.
- Weight - max. 115kg with clothing. For those more than 90kg (with Clothes) we charge a small extra fee to be paid on arrival at the dropzon.
- In generally good health. If you have doubts after operations, injuries or illnesses please consult a doctor before jumping.
- Older people should consult a doctor beforehand. Since we want to adapt to the needs of older guests, please contact us before purchasing the voucher.
- Skydiving with disabilities is possible. For example, paraplegia, blindness or other limitations generally do not represent an obstacle. So that we can assess whether a jump is possible, please contact us before purchasing the voucher.
Detailed description
- Please arrive at the drop zone at least 30 minutes before your appointment.
- Wear comfortable casual clothing and sports shoes.
- We will provide you with a jumpsuit, a protective helmet, and a wind shield glasses.

- Your tandem instructor will explain the jump procedure and fit you with the student harness, which will later be connected to your instructor’s harness.
- The flight to the dropping altitude takes about 12 minutes.
- After the jump, you will experience around one minute of freefall.
- The parachute will be deployed at over 1000 meters.
- Your instructor will show you how to control the fully steerable parachute.
- You decide whether to gently glide to the ground or descend in fast spirals.
Weather
We will do our best to inform you via SMS as early as possible if weather or wind conditions are unfavorable for the jump.
In rare cases, we may only be able to inform you about a cancellation on-site.
In the event of a cancellation, your voucher code will be reactivated until its validity expires, allowing you to easily book a new appointment online.
Time Required
The entire process takes about 60 minutes.
We recommend planning for 2 to 3 hours, as weather conditions or flight movements at Vienna Airport may cause unforeseen delays.
People with disabilities
We are happy to offer tandem skydives to people with physical disabilities.
Spinal cord injuries, blindness, or other impairments do not generally pose a barrier.
However, please consult your doctor beforehand.
